Hi there! We are Seb and Aimee, the founders of the London based travel blog OurSaltSouls.
Our blog name is a combination of “Seb” and “ALT,” which represents Aimee’s initials and the S from Seb.
We are both originally from Australia and met while living in London. Both of us came to London to spend 6 months and now we have both been here for 4/5 years. As we both love to travel we have decided to share our travel experiences with you!
At OurSaltSouls, we specialise in providing inspiration and tips for short getaways throughout Europe and the UK. With London as our home base, we’ve explored various destinations and can’t wait to share what we have learnt with you.
On OurSaltSouls, you’ll find a collection of blog posts covering our exciting travel adventures. As well as recommendations for captivating books and engaging podcasts that we love. We will also share relationship tips and tricks that have helped us navigate our journey together.
About Aimee:
Im Aimee and I make up the ALT of OurSaltSouls.
I moved to London in 2018 for 6 months and I have been travelling from here ever since. I love exploring different places and finding hidden gems.
I have been to so many beautiful places however I couldn’t pick a favourite. However I loved travelling to Turkey, with its rich culture, friendly people and crystal clear waters. Another of my favourite places will always be Australia, with its white sandy beaches and hot summer nights under the stars.
When I’m not on adventures, I love to read, practice yoga or spend time brunching with friends.

I’m Seb and I make up the SJB of OurSaltSouls.
I moved over to London in the first half of 2019, intending to live in London and travel to Europe for a year or two but as they often do, my plans changed.
London is such a vibrant city with so much going on, I love the coffee shops, abundance of parks & live music culture. If you’re looking for me on a weekend in London I will be at the local park run and after visiting my favourite coffee to spend some time watching an abundance of interesting YouTube videos.
Outside of the UK though, I love the Mediterranean countries. Take me somewhere by the sea, with sun and good food an I am happy man! Somewhere with a bit of surf if also a requirement!
