Seven Dials Market
Covent Garden
Seven Dials Market is located in central London and the closest underground station is Covent Garden on the Piccadilly Line. The market is indoors and is set out over two floors with 19 different traders inside. Tables here cannot be booked and they are run on a first in first served basis.
Inside you are treated to different food vendors that serve up dishes including burgers, pizza, tacos and more. There is also the Cheese Bar which has a conveyor belt filled with pick and choose cheese, they also do nights of bottomless cheese. There is also two bars on site making it a great place for a pre-theatre drink.
Camden Market / Hawley Wharf
Camden
Camden Market located in North London, the closest underground station is Camden Town or overground is Camden Road. The market is made up of several different areas including shopping, vintage stores.
The food space is located in the main courtyard are the options are endless. Some of the highlights at the market include the falafel wraps from Falafel Magic, The Cheese Wheel where they make their hand rolled pasta which is then spun through a giant wheel of parmesan and the Cereal Killer cafe as the name suggest serves up some of your favourite cereals in with their own twist.
If you’re looking for something unusual underneath Camden Market is a store called Cyberdog specialising in dance, fluorescent clothing and rave style clothing.
Camden Hawley Wharf is a newer development set on the opposite side of the canal. The new market is home to 30 different food vendors, specialty shops and a cinema.
Maltby Street
Bermondsey
Located just a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge, it’s a must-visit for food enthusiasts, tourists, and locals looking for a weekend treat. Maltby Street Market is located in railway arches which service nearby London Bridge Station. This small street market is only open Friday through Sunday. There is something for everyone at Maltby street from coffee to toasties and Banh Mi.
Maltby Street Market is the famous starting point of the Bermondsey Beer Mile. This Beer Mile is a road full of artisinal breweries that can all be accessed by walking.
Vinegar Yard
Southwark
Located nearby London bridge Vinegar Yard sits between Borough Market and Maltby Street Market. Vinegar Yard is full of local shops, art installations and several food vendors. There is also lots of seating available making Vinegar Yard a great place to host and event or meet friends as there are options for everyone. On Saturday and Sundays Vinegar Yard is turned into a flea market full of eclectic fashion and homewares. They also have large screens in the venue where they screen several sporting events.
Broadway Market
Hackney
Located nearby to London fields green space the Broadway Market is the perfect place to go for on a sunny summers day for a picnic. The market is only open on Saturday and Sundays but there is everything that you can need for a perfect picnic without the fuss. There is options for lunch as well as sweet treats and even the chance to pick yourself up something special from one of the local handmade stalls.

Mercato Metropolitano
Elephant & Castle, Canary Wharf, Mayfair
Mercato Metropolitano is a group of food stalls located in several different parts of London. Each venue has slightly different food options however they all have a range of food and drink options. At the Elephant and Castle location they offer monthly chess club meet up which are a great way to meet people nearby. The location in Canary Wharf also has a Jazz bar located at the bottom of the market, make sure to check their website for details.
Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall
Colindale
Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall is located in greater North London a 15 minute walk from nearby Colindale Station, on the northern end of the Northern Line.
Below the foodhall is the Golden Dragon Restaurant which if their lines for dim sum are anything to go by then it is worth a try. However if you are dining in a group and want to have a larger selection you can try one of their 27 stalls at the top. Make sure to also check out the Wonderful Patesserie bakery for a sweet treat on your way out.
If you need to stock up on asian groceries then you can also Loon Fung a large Chinese supermarket located next to Bang Bang Oriental Foodhall.
Borough Market
Southwark
Borough Market is one of the city’s oldest and most iconic food markets! Located next to London Bridge Station is open 10am -5pm Tuesday to Sunday.
At Borough Market you will find loads of fresh produce as well as all your herbs spices and other cooking essentials. There is also a massive selection of food on offer depending what you are after as well as seating in the food area or why not walk down to the nearby River Thames to enjoy your lunch.
Some of our favourite places at Borough Market include Mei Mei for Singaporean street food, Bread Ahead for your baked goods, Monmouth for your caffeine fix and Humble Crumble for a delicious pudding.

Boxpark Markets is an array of shipping containers transformed into large scale markets. Located in Shoreditch, Croydon, and Wembley these markets are home to lots of different food vendors, shops and other store fronts.
Each Boxpark has a selection of independent shops, boutiques, and food vendors which are located inside the shipping container structure. The markets vary slightly depending on the location in which they are set in such as Shoreditch has more shops where as Wembley has more games and experience based activites.
Brixton Village
Brixton
Brixton village is a small eclectic market located near to Brixton tube station. Brixton itself is an area that thrives from its multicultural influence which shines through with different resturants drawing infleunces from Caribbean and African to Mediterranean and Asian cuisines. Some of the most well known resturants of the market is Fish Wings and Tings for Caribbean food and Okan for Japanese food. The market is also used for several different art, music and cultural events so make sure to check their socials to see what is happening.
Spitalfields Market
Whitechapel
Spitalfelds Market is located in East London area of Shoreditch with nearby Liverpool Street station and Aldagate making it super accessible to get too. The market is so rich in history and has been trading in this area dating back to the 1600’s.
Inside Spitalfield Markets there is a variety of different independent traders with stall ranging from food to fashion and vintage wares. For great coffee inside the markey make sure to visit Climpson’s Coffee Bar and grab a doughnut from Donovan’s Bakehouse.
On the outskirts of the markets there is also some of our favourite big name retails stores with branches at Spitalfields including Mulberry, & Other Stories, Peleton and many more.
Columbia Road Flower Market
Hoxton
Columbia Road Market is technically a flower market however surrounding the market is some great food options. Columbia Road market is only open on Sunday from 8am – 2pm, if you are looking oto purchase flowers it is best to go at the end of the market as they start to reduce the prices of flowers. If youre looking for food nearby the market there is so much to choose from such as coffee from Pavilion, cakes and sweet treats from Cake Hole Cafe and Lupos for their sandwich options.
